The Devines’ Irish Hooley + Pat Crilly & Peter Crossley

Come and celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day with the wonderful London Irish band The Devines.

John, Joe and Caz Devine are three members of the same musical Family, with roots firmly planted in the Irish musical tradition, playing traditional Irish dance music, mixed with original and contemporary arrangements of Irish songs, on an inspired mix of instruments, including Uilleann Pipes, Banjo and Saxophone.

The Devines have been touring since 2011 and made history when they were amongst the first musicians to ever perform Irish music at a Royal reception in Buckingham Palace. They have produced three studio albums and an EP since conception in 2009. Tonight, John and Caz will be joined by Andy Brown.

Pat Crilly is always in demand around Saint Patrick’s Day with his repertoire of classic Irish songs, deftly played and strongly sung! Get Rhythm Magazine stated “A great live act , Pat reminds me of Roger Chapman and Feargal Sharkey mixed with Peter Gabriel” and Seasick Steve commented “This guy’s good!” after hearing Pat at London’s 12 Bar Club.” (That last quote may have related to Pat’s other, non-Irish repertoire, but you can’t let an endorsement like that pass!)

The evening will conclude with The Devines leading a real Irish Hooley, being joined by the rest of the cast including Brian Burke and the Tangler’s Irregulars. All in all, it’s sure to be a night of the best Irish craic and great music!
