Cambridge-based Tennessee Twin are a multi-award winning country music duo. Victoria and Geoff met in a recording studio in 1997. From that moment on, their musical journey took an upward trajectory, connecting them on a personal level and captivating audiences around the world.

In 2018 their song ‘Wings Of Red White & Blue’ won the British Airways/Nashville Music City song-writing competition, taking them to record in Nashville, Tennessee and their debut EP ‘Tips In A Jar’ went straight into the iTunes UK Country Chart at No.1 the following year.

Today, celebrated as a well-loved singer-songwriter duo in the UK Country and Americana world, they are driven by shared interests, inspiration, determination, and a love of performance & storytelling through music.

Performances include: C2C Country Festival at London’s O2, the British Country Music Festival at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, Cambridge Folk Festival, The West Country Music Festival, various Foodies festivals, Country on the Coast & Nashville Calling and overseas (Nashville, Denver, and Amsterdam).

Co-headlining this evening will be singer-songwriter Craig Joiner. Whether recalling a love lost, celebrating the calming beauty of nature or relating the epic tale of a struggle at sea, Craig’s songs are informed by experience, observation, vivid imagination and a desire to take his music “deeper into folk”.

As a dextrous and highly accomplished guitarist, Craig is fully equipped to play out his compositions against an acoustic musical backdrop which perfectly suits his subject matter and vocal delivery. “My hope is that my music will help people escape the pressures and the madness of the world we all now live in and provide them with…a kind of calm, if only for a short while,” says Craig.

Craigs new album, ‘A Kind Of Calm’, is a collection of new songs with storytelling is at its heart, including the focus track ‘The Wedding Day Of Eliza May’ , a romantic lament of ‘it should have been me…’
